Tacombi has 7 locations throughout New York so you shouldn’t have a problem getting a table here. You get a little feel of Mexico as soon as you walk in with their unique decor. Tacombi started in Mexico, the owners bought a VW Kimbi bus in Mexico City and drove through Yucatan to Playa del Carmen. There, they stripped it down to the shell and converted it to a taco cart (Original parked in front of Gansevoort Market).

In 2010, Tacombi opened their flagship restaurant on Elizabeth St and has been expanding ever since. Everything on the menu is worth having but the fan favorite here is probably the crispy fish. Tacos are on the smaller side here but they pack a big punch.
